I’ve kissed other girls in front of my girlfriend before. She’s happy to see me happy and having fun! And this friend happily mentioned that kissing her in front of our other friends is something I could do. She said this all on her own, before I even had to ask. I think she’s excited to have that experience as a bottom for a change.

Our friends will adjust. Hell, most of them have kissed at least a few friends in the group, if not most of them, and a few have hooked up before, so. Pretty damn sure it’s fine.

And I don’t *think* anyone will be jealous?? Which, if they are, that’s their emotion to handle anyway, though of course I do care if that happens. I’m not trying to disregard anyone’s feelings. Still, it seems unlikely anyone will feel jealous much, if at all. This friend and I are both polyamorous, so if anyone wants to make a move, they’ve already been aware that they can. And if any friend in particular wants to make it clearer to me that they want me to be the one make a move, they already know they can.

My friend made it pretty clear that she’s generally open to certain things developing with friends, and she isn’t worried about whether those things continue as fwb, go back to being platonic over time, or whether they turn romantic or not. We’re also on the same page about all that, and we’re both very willing to communicate clearly and openly, while also being open to however things naturally develop, because we’ll still be happy to know each other no matter the outcome. All of that is what made this feel both reasonable and safe.

She also mentioned (just a liiiiittle pointedly) that she tends be expected to be the one who makes a move on other people, and she doesn’t typically have other people initiate things with her. And at the same time, I’ve already been learning recently… apparently that’s my type. I like the confident girlies who are stereotyped as initiators because of said confidence… I like to give them the much-needed relief and the lovely experience of having someone else initiate, someone else top, someone else Domme, someone else make suggestions for activities, someone else ask them out, someone else make decisions. In this case, she essentially hit me with green light after green light, and I then initiated. So like. It was pretty fuckin’ obvious that I was cleared for takeoff. My Autism was grateful, haha!

We each communicated with our partners about all this, both before and after, and they were all happy for us! And my girlfriend is the one who introduced me to this friend group in the first place, so I’m deeply happy she feels that way. My partners and I typically experience a lot of compersion for one another’s experiences and relationships with other people, and it’s just so fucking lovely oh my god. The communication is there, but so is the ability to recognize our own emotions and identify what’s underneath them. So like… what more could I ask here really??

Once in a while, really good things do still happen! And goddamn, I love being a polyamorous Non-binary Trans Femme Dyke in an almost-all-Trans friend group. We’re all so cool! And hot. And fun to be around… Have I mentioned I love my friends?? (And apparently I like hooking up with some of them, lol).
