5 life changing (possibly life saving) incisions. Every now and then I have “I can’t believe I’ve actually done this” moments. I have some tenderness (again, just gas) but am otherwise feeling good. It took me an hour but I got through my lunchtime broth and some apple juice. And everything is ticking along nicely. Sugar free zooper dooper to reward myself for doing a shop today to make sure I’ve got supplies post op. A few little portion controlled containers, a variety of soups, hydralyte icy poles and some chicken to get me through the last couple of days of pre-op. Helped by the fact that I am married to the single most supportive man on this planet. I’m ready for Tuesday. I want it to be here. I want to be on the other side of it ready to start the rest of my life.
