More important is the matter at hand. It’s quite early, dawn yet to break, the morning air frigid. Though that certainly begs the question of what she’s doing in such an isolated place at such an hour. Beryl herself doesn’t have a good reason; practicing swordsmanship is the truth, but it certainly sounds more like an excuse.
