Slavic goddess of dawn, midnight, and dusk, magic, beauty and love, sickness and healing, and wisdom. Depicted as one, two, or three sisters, one of which is sometimes associated with harm. In some incantations their name is interchangeable with that of Mother Mary.

Born on Samhain, she washes her great plaid in the swirling gulf of Corryvreckan and ushers the first snow as it dries. Her craggy blue skin will eventually soften until she is reborn as Brigid on Beltane and the cycle begins anew.

Breathe in slow. Feel the pull—deeper, softer. My presence wraps around your will, silk-tight and inescapable. With every breath, you forget the world… until there’s only me. Mine to worship. Mine to obey. Let go, acolyte—I already own you.
