I have a personal Pinterest account specifically for my craft, and I have a board for all of the Greek deities that I like to call my Virtual Alters. Here, I cultivate images that remind me of the gods in different ways; wether it be literal, like sun images for Apollo or pictures of pearls for Aphrodite, to things that I feel aesthetically call to them, like rich, maroon velvets and silks for Dionysus, or bones among wildflowers for Persephone.

I love this practice because it's something that most people have access to, and with the app on your phone, you can have your Alters with you at all times, even if you may not have a place for them at home currently, or maybe you're traveling. I give a little bit of time when I think about them to add some new images to my boards and honor my deities with my time and thoughts.

If you’re a lazy witch, like me, you can really toss out a spell at any time. But if you’re looking for the BEST time to preform your magic, use the moon, cause she has your back. 

Moon energy is our energy. And casting spells in accordance to the moon is really simple, you just need to remember a few important days. 

WAXING The waxing moon is when the moon is growing in it’s cycle. It’s getting bigger, more full and round. Typically I do my financial spells at this time. I like to grow in my prosperity, abundance, and business success. Grow or increase is the key word in this instance. Preform spells that need to bloom, take time, bring opportunities to you or require growth to get bigger during the waxing moon. 

WANING The waning moon is the time to do spells that require things to get smaller. Banishing bad habits or people or removing things that no longer serve you in your life. This can also be a cleansing time to remove negativity or just cleanse and remove in general. 

NEW MOON Just as the name suggests the the new moon is about bringing new-ness into your life. New love, new job, new direction. Anything new you want to attract into your life should be preformed on the new moon.

FULL MOON The full moon is always the most potent. It has the best energy for spells, cleansing and tarot readings. Preform any rituals that need an extra boost during this time.
