Thank you for the tags, @anacdoce and @roguishcat, my lovelies! I just love reading your snippies. It makes my brain go brrrr with what you decide to show and what you might be teasing for the whole chapter!

This one is fresh from my fingers to your eyeballs. I'm just sitting down to draft my next chapter. It's one I've been looking forward to for months. It's party time now that the previous chapter's events happened (trying not to spoil it if you haven't gotten the change to read it yet).

“Woooooooooo!” Karlach’s enthusiastic screams from another part of the house yanked Hydie from her morning meditation. “At least we know she’s awake now,” Astarion mumbled, turning a page in the book he was reading. Hydie jumped up and rushed to the vanity. She needed to plait her hair and dab some lip color on before stepping out to greet everyone. Karlach had seen her much less presentable than this, but Doug and Dammon were still acquaintances. Trying to work too quickly, she lost the last bit of her braid from between her fingers. No sooner than her sigh of frustration escaped did Astarion’s deft fingers rake through her hair. “Sit still, love,” he commanded.

The Whippet is a British sighthound breed known to be kept for companionship, competitive showing, and for amateur racing as well as lure coursing. It has the highest running-speed of any breed in its weight and size range, and may have the fastest idle-to-running acceleration of any dog.

Long legged beasts

Skippy is my Rhodesian Ridgeback Mixed with Wippet, (or so I was told) is 4 years old. We rescued him from a high kill shelter and literally saved his life. In reality, he saved mine.

When we got him, he had never been in a home, had never walked up stairs. Now, he is cool as can be, sporting his valentine's sweater,( because real dogs wear pink) catching his treats.
