WIPNIP #3: Untitled, librarian Chan x reader, fluff idk ahahjsjdkdndn idk⊠supposed to be cute strangers to lovers
Author's note: This is acc sort of cute the plan I had wouldâve been super cool but I gave up lol... i also intended to add lots of drama where reader is engaged and older than chan by like 5 yrs. Actually I love this wipnip a lot
Between the barriers of the bookshelves, Chan had one job. Out of the dozens his boss managedâan arrangement he never complains ofâhe somehow fails everyday. Well, not until you started coming in.Â
However, today calls for complete focus. His âbossâ, despite being usually lenient, is stern with his words to keep the place in check for once. Chan knows he can manage; after all, heâs been doing it almost a decade. Still, the words replaying in his head make him scoff. He pulls another book off the cart, sliding it into place.Â
The entranceâs bell rings, averting Chanâs gaze to the door. He feels his features contort in disappointment when he realizes it isnât youâitâs his boss, though a friend first, Jeonghan.Â
âYouâre back,â Chan sighs, gripping the next book. âWhatâd you go out so early for?â
âNice to see the library didnât burn down,â he quips, slipping his sweater off, âSeungkwan just wanted to see the sunrise.â
Chanâs hand freezes mid-air, snapping his head to face his friend, nearly dropping the book heâs holding. âSeungkwanâs back?â
Jeonghan nods, tossing his sweater on the back of a chair. âYeah, got back late last night.â
âHe didnât say anything to me.â
Jeonghan only shrugs, then chuckles when he notices the small pout on Chanâs lips. âI think he wanted to surprise you. Guess I just spoiled it.â
âWhatââ
âItâs fine,â Jeonghan says cheekily. âJust pretend you didnât hear it from me, yeah?â
Chan shakes his head, turning back to the shelf. âYeah, whatever.â
Chan feels Jeonghan stare holes at each movement he makes as he stores the books away. In the moment of silence between the two, only the soft scrape of books sliding into the shelves broke through the room. Friendship is kind of like sibling nature, Jeonghan thinks, leaving Chan in peace for too long simply just wonât do.Â
âSpeaking of surprises,â Jeonghan leans against the desk, his cheshire smirk beaming at Chan, âyou havenât said much about that new girl lately.â
Chan freezes, the book in his hand hovering above the car. He breathes deeply though his nose, barely sparing Jeonghan a glance. âNot this again.â
âIâm just saying, Channie,â he says, dragging out the words in a way that makes Chanâs skin crawl. âItâs hard to believe youâre suddenly on a first-name basis with some mysterious chick. I mean, itâs not like you to keep secrets from me.â
âItâs not a secret and sheâs not a chick.â Chan crams the book onto the shelf a little harder than necessary. âAnd itâs none of your business.â
âIs that so? Because the way you keep dodging the topic makes it sound like one. Hey, and easy on the books there. Just âcause Iâm a laid back boss doesnât mean you can take it out on them.â
âJeonghan, itâs just books,â Chan groans, running a hand through his hair, âand I told you already. Iâve talked to her a couple of times. SheâsâŠniceâŠand cute.â
âUh-huh. âNice and cute.â Thatâs it? Thatâs all youâve got?â he scoffs, the glint in his eyes screaming bait taken.Â
âYeah. Thatâs it.â
Jeonghan pushes off the desks, circling closer, his voice switching to a trasoning tone. âSo nice and cute that youâve brought her up three and a half times in the last month.â
Chan glares at him, jaw tightening. âWhat the hell does âa half timeâ even mean?â
Jeonghan only returns a knowing look, unbothered. âIt means you couldnât finish your sentence because you got all weird and flustered when I asked if she even knows you guys are like this,â he says, crossing his fingers together in front of Chanâs face. âPlus, itâs a small town. If there was a cute and nice girl hanging around somewhere I wouldâve noticed, otherwise, why havenât I met her?â
âYouâre annoying,â Chan mutters, turning his back to him.
âYouâre avoiding the question. If youâre such good friends with her, why donât you prove it?â
Chan blinks, spinning around. âProve it? What are we, twelve?â
âCâmon, itâs simple.â Jeonghan crosses his arms, leaning against a nearby shelf. âSeungkwanâs having a beach gathering on Friday. Invite her. That way, Iâll know she's real, and youâre not just making her up to sound cool.â
âI donât need to prove anything to you,â Chan snaps, his cheeks hinting a faint pink blush.Â
âSure, you don't,â Jeonghan replies, grinning as he backs towards his office. âBut I already told Seungkwan about her. Itâd be a shame if I told him youâve been making up imaginary friends in your spare time.â
âYou told him what?â Chan screeches, chucking a book into the cart, âHyung, I should be the one to tell others about her first!â
âHe really is looking forward to meeting her, by the way!â Jeonghan calls over his shoulder as he leaves through the door.Â
Chan exhales sharply, pinching the bridge of the nose. âInvite her,â he mumbles to himself, sliding the book back into place. âIdiot.â

WIPNIP #2: Untitled, Classmate Jeonghan x reader, drabble, uni au, forced proximity, lowkey jeonghan slander (he's kind of the worst person to work with), um strangers to frielvoers???
Author notes: Idk what this is bruh
it's been ten minutes. ten minutes since your other two classmates had left--left you with yoon jeonghan, the infamous slacker of group projects--the one everyone avoids because he somehow gets away with it.
you didn't think too much of it at first, assuming your other two partners would return at some point. but the air ventalitations sounding in the room are telling of the awkward silence between you and this guy sitting across from you.
yoon jeonghan, you think. handsome he is, lazy... yeah, you can see why no one wants to work with him.
it didn't make sense to you, though. from what you heard, he was quite the star student back in high school--you would think with such achievements, he truly excels both socially and academically. but no, you have never seen him lift a single finger in any of your class settings, or seen him talk to anyone--including teachers--unless it was necessary.
"i don't think they're coming back," jeonghan lazily says, doodling on his assignment paper (which he's been drawing on since the beginning of the meeting). he doesn't bother to glance up at you, continuing his ministrations. "perhaps we could call it a day?"
you shake your head, "but they left their things here. surely, they're coming back," you say. "and you haven't finished your part yet. you should try to complete at least half for peer feedback, no?"
"don't worry, i'll finish it before we present," he sighs, placing his pencil down. he reaches for his bag, easily slipping his supplies in, and heads to the door, reaching for the knob. "just text me on instagram or something if you wanna read it over. i wonât be at our next meeting."
"oh, i... i guess so," you say quietly, straightening your papers. "i'll let seungcheol and joshua know then."
jeonghan hums, turning the knob. "thanks, uh... itâs y/n, right? and you can send me questions if you have any--" clunk. he pauses, slowly looking down at the knob on the floor. just great, he thinks. "huh..." he mumbles, hooking his finger in the hole, attempting to pull it.
you tilt your head in confusion, getting up from the table. "what was that?"
"the door knob," he flatly says, picking it up from the floor. "guess we're stuck here for a bit."
your eyes widen. "what?"
jeonghan shakes the knob in view, putting a fake smile on his face. "knob fell off. we're stuck here until the others come."
your lips part, taking the knob from his hand. "well, we can call..." you look behind you, realizing your partners had left their phones too. "or wait."
he shrugs, returning to his seat. it had already been ten minutes, there was no guarantee they'd be back anytime soon. but jeonghan didn't seem fazed at all.
WIPNIP #1: Untitled, popular kid Joshua Hong x nerd loner reader, childhood bestfriends to strangers to acquaintances to friends to lovers, angst/fluff/sugguestive
Author notes: So so so cringe! I'm cringing !!! Had to delete the whole thing but this part is bearable... i dont blame u guys if u hate me after reading this tragedy
You never expect much when it comes to birthdays, given your lack of friends and social circles. But it never bothered you eitherâthe empty chairs, the reused party favours, and best of all, leftover cake. In the past, it made your parents worry, though eventually, they came to know that this is what you wanted anyway.
For as long as you can remember, from years ten to sixteen, there was always one boy who made up for the few bodies in the room. He was the one who sang the loudest; your best friend, Joshua Hong.
It never occurred to you how very few people at school even knew of you with the exception of teachers. Whether you didnât have time to mingle or not, all you knew was that high school was one of the most important years of education before college applications. Naturally, you took that seriously.
Joshua was quite the opposite of you. He remembers before the start of 5th grade, when you had just moved in next door. His parents welcomed your family with open arms, and by default, you became a friend of his. At first, he was hesitant to accept being your guide at school, thinking it would get in the way of being with his friends, but his mother had practically forced him. Turns out, it wasnât too bad for him now.
âThe first one was nicer,â Joshua shouts, flipping through your biology notes. He lay comfortably on your bed, like it was his, leaning his back onto your pillows. How he ended up here was also against his will, but he wasn't complaining, anyway. You needed him, and he wanted to be there for you.
You, on the other side of the bathroom door, roll your eyes and slip on your third dress. As you twist the knob open, you adjust the ends. âYou canât be sure until youâve seen me in all of them. I really wanna look good tonight.â You breathe nervously.
Joshua glances up, staring at your figure. There you stand in a short, strapless purple dress with sequins scattered across the top. The skirt is frilly, crumpled stylishly with a tied bow at your waistline. Definitely party material, Joshua thinks. He airily laughs at you. âWell, youâve already done it, Y/N.â
You scoff, lightly stomping to the edge of your bed. âJosh, Iâm serious,â you say, grabbing the laid out heels you placed around him. âRight now, I need you to be one-hundred percent honest with me here. You know how much I care about first impressions, so I would appreciate a little more criticism,â you pause, âConstructive criticism.â
His eyes crinkle as he flops the notebook on the mattress. He sighs before grabbing the heels in your hands and switching them out for a pair of gold ones. âThese will look best with your outfit. But ditch the beaded bracelet.â
You pause, offering a smile of thanks before slipping them on and taking the bracelet off. Joshua only shakes his head and scooches to the edge of the bed. âI donât get it, Y/N. Since when did you care so much about these things? I mean, come on, you never used to wanna go all out with your birthdays, and now suddenly Iâm forced to be your, what, manager?â
âWhoa there, mister,â you huff, stopping your movements.
Joshua rolls his eyes, lifting himself off the mattress. He towers over you, placing his hands on your shoulders. âLook, you look great. Beautiful even. But if youâre doing this just becauseââ
âIâm not,â you interrupt. âJoshua, I want to do this. Iâm already set with school and now I just⊠I just wanna experience the last of my high school years normally. I wanna drink⊠get wasted⊠and party. Like you, really.â
He blinks, squeezing your skin then letting go as he nods. Deep down, he knows the strangeness of your behaviour is true, but the last thing he wants is to ruin this night for you. Despite all, he smiles at you, just as anticipating as you are. âAlright then. And just so you know, if you wanna back outââ
