Are Chris, Leon and Ethan supposed to be stages of grief???
Denial.
Bargaining.
Acceptance?
It would honestly make a lot of sense character-wise:
Denial.
Chris denies the living daylights about most situations until it literally beats him over the head with its prevalence.
Which admittedly worked… one time, with Jill. But his inability to accept reality genuinely kills most everyone around him. He’s a hazard based on the sole fact his entire soul relies on the past to survive. Chris basically *requires* himself to fumble and make every wrong move just to get to the right one. Working harder, not smarter. Which is why he overcompensates so heavily.
Bargaining.
Leon’s folly in being trained up in the U.S.S.O.C.O.M literally was the fact that he couldn’t let anyone go. He saw that he thrived off of others’ kindnesses and ingrained it into his core that there’d be no one left behind if he had a say in it. Leading to a heartbreaking send off with Luis—that even tho he put them in the whole thing.. Leon genuinely wanted to take him home; give him something of a second chance. All because he basically asked Leon for help, which is all there was to it.
So, there’s Leon Kennedy: Constantly bargaining against death just for “one more.” Very Desmond Doss of him, actually.
Acceptance.
And Ethan. Whose survival is attributed to his ability to overwhelmingly accept a situation and jump to conclusions at rapid fire. As an analyst should, actually; Accept reality and build on that to success.
Even if his beginning started in that denial stage, his whole being relies on his ability to accept a situation. To go through it with a drive and focus like no other, because he makes no excuses. He’d be a great solider and he’d despise every minute of it—that’s what makes him brilliant.
Guys I think they’re stages of grief, oh my fuck.
Eeeee they all came home safely!! Thank you so much!!! @coffeebrownn I absolutely adore this little Chris and the even tinier Chris. Leon is going to my sister, Chris has a home with giant Chris, and Ethan is going to be a travel buddy.
chrisker this, chreon that, wintersfield this, nivansfield that, valenfield this... who give a shit. what's most important is chris getting dicked down like he deserves and it should be what unites us all ☝️

Rose: Why does Karl, Chris, and Leon call you 'baby girl'?
Ethan: How about we stop talking now
Chris Redfield try to have a normal relationship with blondes challenge
(spoiler alert; he fails)
So I was no longer happy with the polycule of doom references...so I'm working on redoing them! I thought I'd post them in batches of 3-4??? So here's the first 3!
