In these warmer months, I always find myself anxiously anticipating fall and winter .. I strive to enjoy the contrast; knowing that we need spring and summer in order for fall and winter to unfold. And I do enjoy spring .. But I can’t help waiting for summer to hurry up so I have an excuse to sew near a cozy fireplace and breath in the cold crisp air. And of course having the excuse to bundle up in wool garb. For some reason, inspiration seems to usually creep in when the leaves are falling and the skies are heavy with gloom. There’s so much comfort and inspiration in finding the light in the dark.
