I grew up outside of Washington, DC, and we considered West Potomac Park and the National Mall our home turf. These were places we made videos for school projects and whiled away sunny afternoons year round. • We zipped into the city today (Just the hubbie and I😍) for a doctor’s appt and a nice dinner out. And I am struck by how lucky we were to grow up here. We took our National Capitol for granted at the same time we took advantage of all it had to offer. • After a snowy day, a bright blue winter sky shows of the Memorials. This is the District of Columbia War Memorial. Built in 1931, it was the first war Memorial in West Potomac Park, and it commemorates the Washingtonians who served and lost their lives in The War to End All Wars. #washingtonDC #WarMemorial #WinterAfternoons #OffWeGo #WhenIWasAKid #snowScene #FortBirthday #MommyBlogger #OldMom #Twinstagram #TwinsOfInstagram #BlueWinterSky #blueSkies #GoOnAnAdventure #momGoesOnADate #FamilyLife #marbleAndSnow #CherryBlossoms #momtog #travelLocal #TwinsOfInstagram #DayAtThePark #MotherhoodUnplugged #BestOfMom #LovelySquares #TheDailyBasic #ACupOfMotherhood #FlashesOfDelight #MotherhoodRising #PhotosInBetween https://www.instagram.com/p/BsoKZs5FSJF/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1noh60x6mxucm
