the interesting thing is that dr brennan also struggles with trying to express her emotions and understanding them, and i think that would fit oscar so well who is also trying to shake off this whole iceman and robot thing that people attached to him last season. he would be this aussie doctor who was recommended by his mentor, dr mark webber who mysteriously disappeared a few years ago.

max of course would step into booth's shoes, although I don't think i would give him booth's backstory. i would imagine max who became a... whatever they have in the uk that's equal to an fbi agent, because his father didn't give him another choice but to follow him in his steps. except jos is a famously failed agent who blew up an important mission, was sent to jail but was later released because of inner favours were asked. he, of course, isn't a a+ parent and it shows in max throughout the story.

i think it would be interesting to see how these two would learn to process and express their emotions especially when it comes to love.

oh, and the crew! charles would take over angela's role, arvid and franco would take over zak's because i love my baby goats and i want them in my stories. liam or lando would be hodgins. I'm only on s1 and honestly forgot the rest of the crew but when i progress i would probably update this list. I want to have seb in the story too, so he could be oscar's boss, the leader of the institution they work at. seeing alonso as max's superior who is tired of work and always complains and threatens retirement but he is still hanging around. oh george could play the psychologist, his and max's banters would be really funny. oh also adding it as a disclaimer, but i mention that they would take over certain roles but their story would be completely different from the show's characters!
