I decided to do a January drabble series too with a random word generator. Slight cw: ptsd.

“People are loud.”

Sam isn’t surprised that the New Years Fireworks bother Bucky. He may not be a modern veteran, but trauma is trauma. He expresses it though, in a way that’s pretty cute. He buries his face in Sam’s shoulder, pouting.

“You okay?” Sam asked softly.

“I’m fine. People suck though.”

“True in any era.” Sam stroked his shoulder. “So, any predictions for the new year?”

Bucky snorted.

“Dumb missions, my therapist nagging me,” he said decisively. “People being rude to you because you’re the most competent superhero out there.”

“Positivity, my dear Bucky.”

“Well I think we’ll kiss more often.”

Sam blushed at that, his cheeks heating up. Their first kiss on Christmas had kind of ushered in a tentative, nervous relationship.

“We’ll kiss way more often.”

When there's down time Steve must always have skin to skin contact with Tony. The serum boosted Steve's senses, and he hates the cool feeling of metal that's often around the genius. Tony's skin is much nicer, and warmer. Tony now often works in the lab with one shoe, and sitting down as much as possible. Steve has claimed Tony's other foot as his. He'll trace his fingers from Tony's ankel to the tips of his toes.

Tony has found, through trial and error, that this is the way he gets the most progress done. If he gives Steve access to any other part of his body they would never leave the bedroom.
