These Korean wings are sweet, spicy, and sticky. They are full of flavor and would be great as an appetizer or main dish. When you mix gochujang, honey, and soy sauce together, you get a delicious glaze that will make everyone want more.
Ingredients: 1 kg chicken wings. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup honey. 2 tablespoons gochujang Korean red pepper paste. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ginger, grated. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 2 tablespoons sesame oil. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish. 2 green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F 200C. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, gochujang, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the sauce. Place chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag and pour in half of the sauce. Seal the bag and shake to coat the wings evenly. Arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil, ensuring they are in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until wings are cooked through and golden brown, flipping halfway through. While the wings are baking, simmer the remaining sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until it thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and brush with the thickened sauce. Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the wings for garnish. Serve hot and enjoy!
