Donnie Yen - Wing Chun (1994)
Working on new Clef Lore.
As the title says I am working on some Clef lore/cannon.
I have been thinking a lot about "If Clef doesnt have access to a gun, what type of hand to hand combat would he prefer?"
A strait forward question and easy to toss around but when you delve into the actual nature of Clef it becomes a bit more diffacult.
Its easy to edge lord and just "He knows all of them." and there is pre existing lore that would imply that he does know all of them like some sort of Fat Batman BUT again, to easy.
I am working it down to try and make a list of three and the only one I am 100% sure that I am going to make one of his hand to hand combat styles is "Wing Chun"
Now you may ask 'DESK WHAT THE FUCK THAT IS A FIGHTING STYLE ABOUT BEING CALM AND DEFENSIVE!?!?! CLEF IS ALL GAS AND NO BREAKS!" and THAT my fellow Clefmunity is why I am going for it.
I am a firm believer that a 'Calm' and 'focused' Alto Clef is the top tier of dangerous. Added bonus, you never expect this from Clef. One would expect Clef to be pure chaos but when the mother fucker breaks out some Wing Chun and systematically picks a group apart without ever moving. That is Clef core. Imagine the shit talk while hes doing it.
Though, as always, with Alto Clef related stuff in my world I want to know what you all think. Please give me your feedback!
And yes, Capoeira is on the list.
Ima go watch Ip Man now for an unrelated reason. So what its about the guy who trained Bruce Lee in Wing chun. It has no relation to my love of GOOD kung fu movies.
added Capoeira gif
(Edit) I will NOT be entertaining 'Drunken Master/Zui Quan' because way to obvious and I, personally, dont want to associate Clef with drinking.
