If you see a huge mountain in front you to climb when you think about Finances and Parents then you are not alone.
I belong to a middle-class family and thinking about abroad studies was a huge deal for us, especially if you are the elder child. The FIrst step was to look for the estimated cost of living and fee of the course. Later I went to different banks and spoke to managers about the loan and scholarship which I can apply to.
Note- If your financial background is not so good to take at least one year to decide and arrange everything.
With all the information and calculations I went to talk to my parents, we had a long discussion and after a careful evaluation, my parents were happy and agreed on this journey.
I was happy that everything worked out smoothly but to crush my happy bubble --I discovered that it is not possible;e for us to take a loan because of the mortgage.😐
For three months we tried every possibilities and connection we had but nothing worked out. My father asked me to look for other options in India.
One fine day out of nowhere my father got help from his friend and colleague for the loan and voila we arranged the money for my cost of living and fees.
Luckily I got a 20% fee waiver from my university as early fee bird and merit scholarship. 😃😄
Tip- If you are planning foreign studies just for the glory or fame to study of it then please understand this feeling won’t last. If you are really interested in the field and work in the same then only go for it.
