What is fine art photography, anyway?
It is enjoyable and humbling to share with you the fine photographic art I have been creating for years but have not had a means to show it off so others could buy it and enjoy it on their walls, too. Fine art is of no value, no meaning, no benefit to mankind, if it is stuck in a hard disk drive or just sitting on the mantle of the creator's home. Art is a means of communication -- the communication of the heart and soul of the artist to anyone who would see the images he/she has created. But it is more than just communication. It is letting another person into the eyes and life of the artist, so they can see as the artist sees and experience life as the artist does.
I have been given the ability to create art by the Creator God. I am endowed with the ability to show you the world as I perceive it and as it makes me feel in my soul. When I see a beautiful image, I feel as though I am looking through the eyes of the Great Artist and Creator of the Universe: God. It is just a sneak-peek. But it is a chance to acknowledge Him as The Artist, among the many attribute He possesses. When I am sharing my art with you, I am sharing part of my relationship with God with you as well. You are seeing part of what I see, and that gift has been given to me by God.
So, with humility, I present my photography website (www.garygoodsell.photography) to you so that you may put a window to the world of the soul on your walls. It is not just my art. It is a gift to us all to enjoy and to contemplate.
