I still maintain that, when they want, the Italians VAs can be the best in the world.
I... canât say I agree with this sentiment. This probably makes me a snob but every time Iâm visiting my parents and theyâre watching films or tv show (all dubbed) I canât help but laugh. Most of the time the translated scripts are really clunky and the acting mediocre imo. And I understand why, so much stuff gets dubbed itâs a miracle itâs even that good.
But when it comes to animation itâs voice actors both in the original and the dub, and in the case of LoK in particular you can tell that some of the original cast wasnât used to that kind of acting. In the dub theyâre clearly VAs with lots of experience and when itâs good, damn, itâs good, and didnât even make me miss original version. Other times... not so much. I liked it well enough though, I expected to be much more put out by it (and I watched my 4 fav episodes).
