Was it really fair to play hide n’ seek with someone that wore a blindfold? But then again, Venti suspected that their newest moon goddess was perfectly able to see even with her eyes closed. And if that was the case, well… she may be able to find Venti quite easily, but would she be able to catch him?

Through the leaves of the tree Venti was perched in, he spotted her approach to his hiding spot; deftly, he leapt out of its branches and bolted away, pausing briefly to look back at his pursuer. “Oops! Seems you’ve missed me again, ehe~”

To say this would be how she expected her first meeting with one of the Seven would go would be a lie. But to say this, the acceptance and simple joy was what she might have dreamed it could be? Well, suffice to say she’s glad she’s begun to allow herself to dream again at long last, if dreams really could come true in such a way.

Even if in reality, the game has so far only brought her loss after loss.

“Ha!” Columbina pushes forward towards a particularly windy tree, a smile gracing her face as her hand brushes against nothing, even though she had meant it to be a frown. She never did have a particularly good ‘poker face’, or so she’s been told. “Hmm… If I didn’t know any better, I’d say it seems like you’re cheating, Mr. Venti.” Ignoring the fact she, too, is in a similar way cheating just as much. While the wind may be all around them — though it may be unnatural in the lands of Liyue — for as long as she is there, so too is kuuvakhi. 

“What was it Aino had us do with cheaters, again…? Ah, right. We covered them in stickers.” Columbina giggles as she gives chase to the fleeing bard, making an exaggerated show of reaching beneath her cloak for the sticker sheet that isn’t there. But he doesn’t know that, of course, and he won’t know. Not until he’s already caught, and she can drag him over to someone who sells them to make good on her word.
