#wind waker link

Drawing this little guy from a game I NEVER played, cause I need to pay more money to the switch so I can buy the game itself. All my savings went down the drain when I bought the darn thing.

...it kinda is though, Linebeck >u<

This came to me in a vision XD. If Wind looks older it's because he is! It's a year or so after LU and several after his adventure. So even though I went into this with Linked Universe on the brain, it could still pass as post-Phantom Hourglass alone. The pirate boy's been pirating! That lobster tunic has definitely seen better days, if it's even the same one at this point.

I don’t think I’ve ever drawn Linebeck before but I had fun trying to make him relatively close to his game model! (I realized too late that JoJo has a slightly different take on him for LU but eh. I still like how he turned out.) The colors were an experiment too but still a fun one!

It’s been just over a year since the defeat of demise and Link still isn’t quite over it. But it’s hard to try and settle back into normalcy when your normalcy is being pulled from under you by people who think their helping.

With new expectations and responsibilities being pushed onto him , along with the move to the surface is going too fast for his liking. He feels more drained than usual. It all might be taking a toll on him if these weird nightmares were anything to go by. But they feel far too vivid for them to be normal.

But with Zelda pulling away from him to focus on her surface project ( to avoid her own problems ) he feels like he has no one to turn to.

Until he wakes up in the great sea , and saved by Outset , an older more experienced hero in the distant future.

Who acts like he has his shit together , and he has some of it together at least.
