I am a big lover/believer/truther of “Good-Parent-Willis-Todd” and therefore I love the headcanon that the jacket Jason wears either belonged to Willis or is a homage to what he would wear.

What do you guys think about Willis Todd? I can never decide how to write him or what to even think.
Willis Todd is canonically nuanced but if I talk abt both his good and bad as a man and parent I'm actually fueling the abusive Willis thinkers and I can't have that
Headcanon that Jason hates the foster system because his family was constantly harassed by CPS throughout his childhood and this constant threat of him being taken away as a result of their poverty is why Willis turned to crime in addition to Catherine's illness.
And that the stress of her husband possibly getting locked up / killed and her son taken away played a role in Catherine's symptoms getting worse and ultimately lead to the failure of her treatment and lead her to drug abuse as a coping mechanism/self harm.
