William B. Lorton, New York ca. 1860?? Bronze-i-fied cast iron front with birds doing what they do. An interesting clock that runs like a champ. Painted face, a very nice brass pendulum. Strikes on the hour. You have to hand it to New York manufacturers of the 19th century. Make a wooden box (pine) to hold the works and then slap different fronts on the box. Yes, I still buy clocks.
