It's an emotional roller-coaster. 2. Goldfrapp Seventh Tree "Little clouds like wounds that blow away" The electronic duo strip back to mostly acoustic instruments and set themselves in a sunny California haze of ambiance. Beautiful. 3. School of Seven Bells Alpinisms "I can't seem to remember my dreams, lately" Before SVIIB decided to move towards a more guitar/ 80's oriented sound, I honestly believed, because of this album, that they were going to change the course of indie electronic music. 4. Santigold Santogold "Steady friction in this bitch, creepin' in just like an itch" This is the album that actually did change the game. 5. The Kills Midnight Boom "Shark infested sea of secrets, in the open fire beat it." Let XXXChange of Spank Rock produce an album by grungy blues musicians and you get an immediately infectious pop album that's rough around all the right edges.
