Will had heard the door open just as he’d been getting out of the shower, his senses picking up on the sounds, but the instant he heard the steps, he knew it was Rowan. As he walked out of the bathroom, he was wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist, his hair still damp and his body still covered in droplets. His plan had been to get to his bedroom and make himself presentable, but judging from the way Rowan looked at him as they met in the hallway, it appeared he was presentable enough. A little grin appeared on his lips as her eyes wandered over his body, and only after several seconds moved up to meet his. The blush on her cheeks had him smiling, although there was an entire different set of thoughts quickly brewing in his mind.
“It’s quite alright, I heard you come in,” he told her, taking a step closer. Maybe getting dressed wasn’t so urgent, after all. And man, was he glad Ophelia was off to Canada with her weird fae friend. “That is very considerate of you, darling,” he responded with a smile, and although he actually was pleased with the surprise, his mind was currently elsewhere. He gently took the brown paper bag from her hand and placed it on the nearby dresser, his other hand moving to her side. He used the hold to pull her closer, droplets transferring from his skin to her clothes as he leaned down to press a kiss to her lips. When he drew back, there was a mischievous grin on his face as he observed, “How uncivil of me, I’m getting you all wet.”
