I was high yesterday and got kind of obsessed with matthew morrison/will schuester even though I've never really watched glee, i like the idea of him as an actor/singer he is almost always there to facilitate guest singers and his costars who play the teenagers. He's got a great talent but because glee is all covers his voice makes every song sound like a knockoff, even if I haven't heard the original. Tbh as a vocalist, he is very good but just brushes actually incredible. It's a broadway voice. Very controlled and impressive but short of beautiful, always lacking a certain amount of raw emotion. It's almost like his professionalist talent prevents him from that last A+ mark above his A-Grade talent, especially because he never ever tries to overpower or steal the spotlight from his various duet partners. Very much the best possible back-up dancer type professional and one that would be great to work with (I'd imagine).
