Ingredients: 1 box of your favorite cake mix. 3 large eggs. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1 cup water. 1 batch of buttercream frosting. Green food coloring. Assorted food coloring for teepee decorations optional. Fondant for teepee and wild animal decorations optional.
Instructions: Warm up your oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin. Mix the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water together in a large bowl. Mix the batter well and until it is smooth. The cake batter should be about two thirds of the way up each cupcake liner. Put the cupcakes in an oven that has already been heated up and bake them for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle of one comes out clean. On a wire rack, let the cupcakes cool all the way down. Get the buttercream frosting ready while the cupcakes cool. Putting green food coloring in the frosting will make it look wild and colorful. Ice the cupcakes with the green buttercream frosting as soon as they are cool. You can use fondant to make small teepee toppers if you want to add teepee decorations. To make the teepees look more real, use different colors of food coloring. To go with the "wild one" theme, you can also use fondant to make small bears, foxes, or deer as decorations.
