Hey guys! This is the aftermath of the recent post i made on xxwildkittenxx.tumblr.com of me comparing/contrasting the Pearl we know from the Crystal Gems (CG) and Blue Diamond’s “guardian” Pearl.
Here is a key of the colors:
Red: Similar Nose
Purple: Similar Hand Shape
Green: Similar Gem in Different Places
Orange: Similar Hairstyles
Blue Diamond’s guardian Pearl also somewhat resembles Lapis Lazuli, a reoccurring character in the Steven Universe, well, universe! But upon closer inspection, Lapis and BD’s Pearl only share similar color palettes, which leads to another frequently fan-asked question, is Lapis a gem made for BD? I mean, if we take matters to obvious reasons, Peridot says she was made for Yellow Diamond, with her hair and clothing patterns with a pattern of yellow diamonds (Rihanna song reference) and also, Jasper showing similar yellow diamonds (In the light) on her clothing.
