I'm listening to this book and, while I find the topic interesting and her writing is very engaging, I'm about halfway through and she mentioned in passing all the African safaris she and her husband have been on and I had to do some googling. They weren't just some struggling farmers - her husband is landed aristocracy and their land is crisscrossed with hiking trails and tenants. And, while I agree with her essential idea of rewilding, I kept thinking about what her goal was - was it apex landscape or was it feudal hunting grounds?
