June 9, 2017 - Wildhorse (Sean's consultancy) is meeting to build support for the Animal Hope and Wellness bill HR 1406, The dog and cat consumption prohibition act of 2017.

Shannen and brother Sean Doherty, with Marc Ching, and both Republican and Democratic politicians they talked to.

For the first two photos, her caption was:

"One of our great meetings for a bipartisan bill. Congressman Jim Costa (dem) signed on to support @animalhopeandwellness bill HR1406. HR1406 is a very straight forward bill banning slaughter for consumption, and consumption of dogs and cats right here in the USA. #thehill #busycancerslayer"

"What an amazing meeting with @repkevinmccarthy and @repjeffdenham along with Marc, founder of @animalhopeandwellness and Sean from @consultingwildhorse This is for bipartisan bill HR1406 which both these gentlemen support. Mr. McCarthy has been such a help with this bill and his kindness is quite clear for all who encounter him personally. Mr. Denham signed on and is helping us with more signatures. This trip has been a success for us, the bill and for dogs and cats in this country. The Dog and Cat Meat Trade Prohibition Act of 2018, was a bipartisan bill intended to outlaw the slaughter and trade of cats and dogs for meat in the United States. Although not enacted in its own right, a version of it was incorporated into the 2018 Farm Bill on December 11, 2018. The reconciled farm bill was signed into law on December 20, 2018.
