Not an Owl
In the mornings, I like to sit in my backyard, drink coffee, and watch the forest. Amazingly, I can usually tell when something is out of place. That's the way it is with this photo, mind you the image is zoomed and cropped quite a bit. Anyway, when I noticed a dark shape on a faraway branch, my thought was "owl" because of the shape. I took a couple of photos then stood, meaning to get closer. No sooner had I look a couple of steps that I realized that it was a squirrel which scurried down the branch. It looks like the squirrel was sitting and watching the backyard, probably waiting for Charlie and I to go inside. With the cropped image, you can see the hairs radiating out from the squirrel, which I think is interesting.
