The National Library of Nigeria Semantic Name Authority Repository (NLN SNAR) was established to translate traditional Nigerian name authority records into structured, linked open data. The knowledge graph is set up to be curated by librarians and queried by machines. It models authoritative information about Nigerian authors and cultural figures with persistent identifiers and semantic relationships. By integrating national bibliographic data into the wider Wikibase ecosystem, NLN SNAR enhances the visibility and discoverability of Nigerian scholarship and indigenous knowledge within the global linked data environment.
