It'd been about a year since Caleb had moved out, he was 19, had a pretty good job with a house that he had to pay quite a bit of money to keep, but it was his. He left as soon as he turned 18, in fact, all of his brothers left right when they turned 18. Benny, Tim, Tom, and him too. He felt awful for leaving Lillian all alone, but he knew he couldn't stay in that house. When Tim and Tom moved out, mother began to hurt him instead, and he had to take it to protect Lillian. Father never helped. Eventually the harm caused him by mother took a toll on his mental and physical health, so he moved out a few days after his 18th birthday. He still kept contact with the twins, but it was only once a while. Caleb was sorting through his mail, it was still early, the morning sun had not yet fully risen. He noticed a letter that stood out. He grabbed it and sat down at the kitchen table. He opened it. It was from Lillian. He smiled, it had been awhile since he had spoken with her, he missed her dearly. "Dear Caleb." It read "I understand it had been quite a while since we have last spoken, but my birthday is in a few days, my 15th birthday to be exact, and I would like you all there. We haven't moved, so I'm sure you know where we are, but if you could please contact our brothers and invite them as well, I would greatly appreciate it. I miss you very much and would love it if you could attend. Love, Lillian. P.S. You don't need to bring anything." With a drawing of a bunny at the bottom. Caleb felt ashamed to admit he forgot about her birthday, but would make it up to her by bring their brothers along to the event she was throwing. The problem was that he actually had to contact them The twins would be easy, he knew their number, but what about Benny? It would be fine, the twins probably knew it anyways. Caleb got up and made his way to the phone, he rarely used it as it was expensive, but it was an important occasion. Caleb picked up the phone and waited for the operator. "Who do you want to call?" A lady asked. "Um, Timas Weaver." He told her. After a minute of waiting he heard a click, then a familiar voice. "Who is this." The voice said, sharply. "Tim? Is that you?" Caleb asked. "Caleb? Why are you calling? You couldn't just mail me a letter?" Tim demanded. "It's too important, Lillian wants you to come and visit, you and Tom. I know you don't want to, but can you please just come over?" There was a long pause. "I would but I can't exactly drive." Tim explained. "How on earth do you get places?" "We walk. At least I do." "I can pick you up, I know where you live." Caleb said. "I guess that can work. Can we end the call now? I'm poor as shit, I can't afford this." Tim said, impatient. "Okay, okay. See you soon." Caleb said, before hanging up. He grabbed his keys and the letter from Lillian and ran to his car. It was small but it was one of the only valuable things he actually owned. It was a pretty big car with four seats, two in the back and two in the front, hopefully big enough for Tom's wheelchair. The twins lived in the town over, it was a long drive, but it was a necessary drive. After an hour of driving, Caleb made it to the house, it was pretty small, but it was the best they could probably do. He knocked on the door and a few seconds later, Tim opened it. It had been years since Caleb saw Tim's face, he always wore his mask, it felt odd now that he wasn't wearing it. He looked so tired, but was happy to see Caleb. Tim invited him in. "So where's Tom?" Caleb asked. "He's in his room, probably writing." Tim led him to a room, and when he opened it, he saw Tom, writing something, likely a poem. Tom looked at Caleb and smiled. "Long time no see." Tom said. They both hugged, it was a little hard since Tom was in a wheelchair but they managed. "Ready to go?" Caleb asked them. "Yep" Tim said. "But Tom hasn't really been in a car before, so go slow." Tom sighed. "I'll be fine." Tom loved Tim, but sometimes he would be overbearingly protective. They all went inside. They all were nervous, but were going to do it either way.
