The world was spinning, it hurt to think while he was running for his life through a vast field of corn or whatever it was.

He was fighting his very being to not turn around and stare into the eyes of the standing corpses that sounded closer then they actually were, his fans were put into overdrive to cool off his overworked frame. It honestly wasn't helping.

His joints creaked under his weight as he fell face first into the ground.

A loud "crack" could be heard through his audials, he slowly lifted his head up to see small bits of one of his rays fall to the ground. He stared at the small pieces of white and red metal that lay on the ground.

My face is already fucked up enough as is..

He thought to himself. Those thoughts were quickly interrupted when the loud groans hit his audials again. He quickly got up to his feet slightly stumbling before he went into a full on sprint again.

He nearly missed it as a large red barn could be made out in the corner of his optics. He didn't have a second thought before he made a sharp turn towards the structure almost falling over again.

He kept running and running until he practically slammed into the front doors of the barn, he stumbled back slightly before opening one of the doors. He quickly went inside and closed the door, hastily looking around for something to lock the doors, red optics landed on a large piece of wood, said piece of wood was quickly grabbed and slid in between the two handles of the doors.

He stepped back watching the doors for a moment before a multitude of groans could be heard outside the door. He decided to not stand around and potentially get mauled, that is if they broke down the door. He turned his head to look behind him, behind him was a rope ladder that most likely lead to a loft of some kind, he made his way to the ladder and climbed up.

As soon as he made it up to the loft he began to pull the ladder up making sure it wouldn't fall back down. He slowly walked towards the back of the loft pressing his back against the wall and slid down to the floor, artificial adrenaline slowly disappearing.

Steam emitted from his back, his fans quietly whirred within him as he began to calm down. The groans from outside seemed to lessen before his audials picked up a loud "bang" coming from the door. His rays slightly retracted into their housing before revealing themselves fully again.

Shit... their not leaving

He thought as he looked around for something to fortify the door further or something to protect himself, his optics caught sight of a large red axe in the corner of the loft, he rose to his feet and walked over to the axe picking it up. It was slightly dull but from the looks of it, it could still cause damage.

He looked outside the large window that had a good view of the field and the front of the barn, 3 to 6 of the diseased corpses could be seen making their way to the barn. He stared at the walking corpses for a moment before more steam was emitted from his back.

Small secondary black rays slowly appeared from their housings, metallic teeth beared.
