You've installed Whooming, the app that discovers anonymous calls, but you're having problems: maybe you're not seeing the numbers decoded within the app? Before explaining some of the reasons why Whooming may not be working, we'd like to remind you that Whooming DOES WORK, all the more so if the associated account has been configured correctly and call forwarding has been set up properly.
Now let's look at some of the reasons why Whooming may not work:
The app is telling me that I am having connection problems.
Whooming may be reporting this message because the app is out of date. As a first step, you need to make sure that the Whooming app is updated to the latest version. Operating systems do not always report the presence of a new version, so it is best to check the store and update manually.
I have updated the app, but it still says I have connection problems.
If the app is updated correctly, then perhaps there really is a connection problem. Try experimenting using both WiFi and phone data, maybe leave the phone in aeroplane mode for a few minutes first.
The app won't work unless I have at least âŹ1 credit in my SIM card.
The app may have trouble handling the diversion if your phone credit is only a few cents. However, this depends on the telephone operator: call forwarding, in order to be operational, often needs to find a credit in the reference user. This does not mean that this credit is taken by the operator or Whooming: it is only a prerequisite. Make sure you have at least 1 ⏠credit to use Whooming correctly. If you want to check that in fact that credit has not been spent, you can check your remaining credit with the services provided by your operator (many operators allow you to check your credit with their app, by calling or sending an SMS).
I have set up the app correctly, but I don't see any anonymous calls even though I know I have received them.
When you receive anonymous calls, are you sure you REJECT them?
Except for specific cases of some not-so-legal anonymity services, which Whooming can't track because they don't actually have a number, Whooming can track any number. In order to see that number, however, you first have to reject that call at the moment you are receiving it. This is crucial to activate call forwarding. Make sure you always reject calls from anonymous numbers - only then will Whooming be able to unmask them!

- Is Whooming free?
Whooming is totally free. If you want to unblock all its functions, you can subscribe to any subscription plans from your app.
- I do not remember my password. What should I do?
If you forgot the password you registered on Whooming, just click on "Log In" and then on "Forgot Password?". You will receive an email with the new password; please check also your Spam and Promotions folders of your email inbox.
- Do I have to reject blocked calls?
To function, Whooming needs you to set up the call diversion when busy. To identify the call, it is required that you always decline blocked calls. If you have enabled the unconditional call diversion, however, the phone will not ring and all calls will be automatically diverted to Whooming and will all appear on your Call List in the app.
- I received a blocked call, but I can't see the number.
Unfortunately, even if you have credit in your phone and you set up everything correctly, it may happen that when you receive a blocked call, you and your anonymous caller hang up simultaneously. In this case, the call is ended by the caller before it can reach Whooming's server for the identification.
- Are Whooming results legally valid?
The results you get on Whooming do NOT have a legal validity. If you identify a stalker with Whooming and you decide to take legal action against them, the legal authorities will arrange collection of legal information through your phone records.
- What does "0", "Anonymous", or "incomplete number"mean?
There are phone carriers, usually Voip, which allow you to make calls without entering any sender, not even hidden - eg. Skype, telephone booths, Viber, etc. In these cases, not even Whooming can identify the call.
- How can I unsubscribe from Whooming and deactivate the call diversion?
To unsubscribe from Whooming, you first have to deactivate the call diversion. If you set the forwarding when busy, type on your keypad the string ##67# and call it. If you set the unconditional call diversion, the code you need to type and dial is ##21#. After that, to delete your Whooming acount, go to the Settings in your app and click on "Delete Account". This action cannot be canceled.
