White truffles

𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍝 @bancone.pasta have launched their autumn menu and it includes the BEST pasta dish I’ve ever had in my life. This was also my first time at Bancone and I LOVED it, it’s top quality dishes at reasonable prices. The pasta dish that I’m claiming is my favourite ever is their new pappardelle with sautéed chicken liver, brandy and sage. A lot of people will turn their noses up at the thought of chicken livers, but I’m sure if you give it a go you’ll be converted. You get a certain saltiness that you’re unable to match with regular seasoning. Chicken livers give you a rich intense taste and if cooked perfectly will also be creamy. The brandy brings those warm autumn tones to the dish and take those rich flavours deeper, and the sage brings those citrus notes with an earthiness. Other autumn dishes include the lobster with semi dried tomato, chilli & bucatini, and again the pricing is so good that you’re not even paying a premium for the lobster. The burrata with roasted pumpkin and walnut, along with the Gorgonzola filled palenta were the perfect antipasti, paired with their massive slabs of focaccia.
