It seems to never escape my consideration how something has to die in the process of making of meat. That realization has always hit me hard. To this day. I hope with all of my heart that that feeling never lessens at the moment of the pull of a trigger, or the release of an arrow. Even months later, looking back at photos of a successful hunt, it is a powerful feeling. .
