The whirl stone is like the moon stone / moon pool for the clan.

All of the caves they live in quickly become far too narrow for humans to get into past the entrance, so the sleeping areas would be safe. Due to the whirlpool and the tides, the beach would be considered too dangerous for people to go onto anyway since they could get stuck.

As the tide goes out, the rockpools are revealed! The old territory was beside a river and waterfall, so the cats are already used to fishing, but they take advantage of the prey in the fields and woods too. with so much available, they’ll rarely go hungry.

Top left is a small family farm. They occasionally take the horses out into the wildflower fields, but never too close to the clan, again, for safety reasons. I wonder if any future clanmates live in the barn 🫢hehehe

AAAAnd lastly, the water on the right side of the image is the river that the cats followed downstream to reach the new territory.
