is definitely this newfound admiration for Daniel Sousa and his romance with Peggy, >> It's sharon Carter all over again. These people are using all kinds of excuses instead of admitting that they hate Steve's ending because he didn't stay with Bucky, or Sam, or Nat, whoever. They are upset because their ship didn't become real, so they will pretend to worry about Peggy and Sousa. Just as they hated the kiss because it reduced Sharon to a love interest, but in fact they didn't give fuck to her.
Lmao yeah this sudden concern/pity party for S*usa is the funniest fucking thing. People just conveniently refuse to realize that the very same arguments about St*ggy being forced could be used for P*ggySous. Or are we forgetting that humble, virtuous Sousa proposed to a woman he didn't love, put her in a position where she had to break off the engagement AND, he and Peggy never were actually together during the two seasons?
But I digress. People use these barely explored characters as a jolly card, so that when people point out that hey, maybe their argument is skewed by their love for a certain ship (which, again. It's not bad in itself, but when you refuse to see that other people may not see what you see? It is bad), they get to pull out that card. But no! I care about Sousa! No, I care about Sh*ron as a character! That's why I didn't like the kiss. Which is really weird considering how many Sharon-is-a-beard memes I still see around. But oh well. Whatever helps them feel righteously mad about Steve’s actions, am I right?
