My first chemo treatment last Friday went well! Miracles of finding a vein right away, a wonderful caring team of nurses, my Mom and brother able to be with me even though they are restricting visitors and for the excruciating hip pain I’ve been suffering to be gone!! The next day my cousins from Chicago Halifax and Windsor came by to encourage me!! It was an incredible day of prayer, talks, laughter, worship and hope!! The days after that have been very hard with pain and fatigue setting in as the chemo does it’s work. I have been crying out to God for grace daily.. yesterday I went in to the hospital to set up radiation treatments which will be next Monday through Friday, an hour each day. They will be radiating the tumors that have gone into my pelvic area. There has been some erosion of my pelvic bone. Praying for God’s grace and healing to be added to all these medical procedures. Thank you for your prayers. It is daunting to look ahead but I am looking upwards to Jesus. And holding on to Him… “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ESV #wheniamweaktheniamstrong #strengthfromabove #expectingmiracles https://www.instagram.com/p/CpQCo5-ORpH/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
