#whatever posting

i looked up how to become an astronaut and learned that it requires a masters degree in a relevant STEM field, and since my BA is as far removed from STEM as it gets, i would have to start all over from undergrad. i don’t want to go into any more student debt though. maybe i have to wait a little bit first before a solution appears

My inability to be deep and express my emotions ever has completwly stripped me of any sense of how to communicate with people and often ends up with me becoming frustrated at them for not being able to read my incredibly subtle hints which is so dogshit

i’ve been getting really into astrophysics recreationally lately. which is unusual for me because my whole life i have been an ~Artist~ and a ~Creative~ because math and science stuff was not interesting to me. i was like good at math and generally pretty good at science but i thought they were boring. and also i was bad at specifically biology for some reason. but now that im medicated im getting really interested in the science of astrophysics and some of it is because ive graduated and have spare time and energy on my hands fo Learn maybe?? but like also its summer?? but more importantly i am MEDICATED now!!!!!! and i am seeing the ways poetry and science actually go together hella. and i can Empathize with Science now. and i am interested in things that take a little more effort for me to focus on. and what if i was literally supposed to be a STEM person my whole life and im just medicated now and unlocking my True Potential. and i know that’s not how medication works really but im gonna be sooooooooo mad if i like burn out in all of my first post grad creative jobs and end up going back to school for fucking astronomy or astrophysics or some space related science thing because i’m medicated and finally have things i care about that also gives me a sense of Purpose

i need to redo my intro post bc a) my linked tags are outdated and b) it’s finally happened. i am overstimulated by the blinkies. i can’t handle them. but the new dilemma is i can’t decide if i want to keep committing to my theme and redo EVERYTHING or if i can just have a simple little listy post and call it a day. also my computer is evil so ive only been using mobile lately and going on my computer to format such a thing sounds annoying. hey chat we’ll see

when it comes to internet etiquette, no matter what site i’m on, i follow tumblr rules. everyone is entitled to post what they want and use their account for what they want. everyone is also entitled to customize their experience to avoid content they don’t want to see. i don’t have to like everything everyone is posting on the internet, and i don’t get to tell anyone what they can and can’t post based on my personal comfort. that said, i am allowed to block or mute anyone for any reason at all. the problem with instagram is no one else follows these rules and many take it as rude when you do things like that. to be on instagram i have to either accept that miscommunications will occur/decide i don’t care what people think of choices like that even in the face of conflict, or go out of my way to avoid such miscommunications/deal with seeing things that are upsetting on my own phone with my own wifi. the secret third option is deleting instagram
