Good riddance GoT
I would like to take a moment to thank the writers of the Game of Thrones tv series for killing everyone off this past episode. I must admit I wasnāt one of those people who gave the finger and declared I wouldnāt watch ever again because they killed off good characters. But at this point, thereās literally no one left to root for so I can finally let go of this atrocity in peace. I wanted to stop watching after season 4 because the show got pretty lackluster. Enter season 5 and I have unquestionable doubt that the writers have absolutely no moral compass. Creating MORE rape scenes and having dadās randomly burn daughters (especially when these events were not part of the original work) is highly distasteful to say the least. But sadly *le sigh* I canāt say I expect more from a bunch of white dudes -_-. Ā I could go into a whole tangent about all the bullshit āreasonsā theyāve given for justifying those creative decisions but I Ā donāt care anymore. I wonāt be contributing to their income whether it be via watching an episode, a google search, a youtube view, or anything else. I genuinely donāt believe they deserve it. Good luck to the rest of you who continue to decide the show is worth your distress.Ā
