WHAT’S IT ABOUT
Etienne Boudreaux is the young heir to his New Orleans coven house, and at only twenty, is already talented, brilliant, and doted on by his entire community. He’s got something of an ego, which gets repeatedly checked the moment he’s introduced to Nicalos Caldwell, bullheaded alchemist extraordinaire.
Nica is determined to make their partnership in the city’s new mandated Arcane Diversity Program work, but they have a tough opponent in Etienne. He has no interest in reconciling the alchemist and witches’ differences, and would sooner see Hermes University closed down than be pals with Nica.
Tensions bubbling over between them both, and within the city in general, Etienne and Nica have to learn to put their squabbles aside, lest they be claimed by everything monstrous that goes bump in the night.
