I’m thinking a lot about WeTV.
I don’t follow that much stuff irl but if I remember correctly they said that they were gonna release 8 GLs.
Is the middle of the year and we haven’t have anything at all. A mention, a cast call, anything.
And I wonder if the fact of their silence is because they were expecting better numbers with the three they released last year.
Two great GLs, basically perfect ones(Queendom and Love Design) and one very fun at least(Like A Palette). But where completely ignored by the majority of the GL fandom.
Love Design got a second air in Netflix but I’m not sure how well that actually is.
Instead we got the official separation of Arhoung and Pam. Arhoung already have another partner in her company.
Not sure what’s going on but apparently impatient fans are going crazy with Kao and Jane and the lack of work together. Mind you I am aware that people that are acting this way with Kao and Jane doesn’t care about shows they just want more fan service from them. Apparently some fans made Jane cry and she had to talk about it and apologize.
Because even if the fans are in the wrong the actresses are always the ones that apologize.
The consequences of feeding this kind of thing to basically sasaeng level of crazy people.
And the girls from Like a Palette are just there. I follow them on Instagram and there’s not much about that. It was more like just another job.
I hate the main focus on irl stuff in this fandom although I can’t do anything about it. But if we lost 8GLs because people are not giving time to shows is gonna be something we always gonna regret.
Losing Arhoung and Pam is already something very bad.
