a lot of non-human animals like wolves, cats etc scent is extremely important for identification, scenting loved ones and territory is normal and expected behavior.
so olfactophilia would be normophilic for them. its not kinky it’s expected.

eep! exciting WereCats news, - so I held our first pre-production meeting yesterday, and the consensus from my brother (aka my theatre company, Open Closet Productions's treasurer/secretary) is that we should be able to raise the funds to stage the show the way we want it in early-mid 2028!!! my initial prospective tech/prod schedule had us opening on Halloween next year, but Marley said that'd be cutting it fine, so we're pushing it back a few months (I'd say maybe somewhere around May-July) and the goal is to do 8 or 9 shows (plus three previews) over the span of about a week.
we'll probably start up a company Patreon and a production-specific Kickstarter sometime this year (probably opening the Kickstarter once we've secured the rights, I'm not sure, it's up to Marley) so I'll post about it on here if anyone is willing and able to support us, but there is absolutely zero pressure.
the production will be staged at the Civic Theatre Newcastle in Australia, but if you want to support the production and are unable to travel to see it, there will be special BTS and exclusive clips (cough, definitelynoarchivefootageleakage, cough) for our backers, though, again, absolutely zero pressure!
