Enid: *still unfazed* You look like youāre fun to play hide n seek with! Here, Iāll count first since youāre shy. *covers her eyes* One! Two! Threeā¦
Wednesday: ā¦ *walks off and hides*
Wednesday: *scowling* Howād you find me? My hiding spot was perfect.
Enid: *gasps* You CAN talk! Your voice sounds so pretty!
Wednesday: *scowling, but blushing* You didnāt answer my question.
Enid: *giggles* Iām a werewolf, silly! I sniffed you out!
Wednesday: ā¦ Intriguingā¦ itās my turn now. You hide.
Enid: OKAY! MAKE SURE TO COUNT TO TWENTY!
The girls continue to play hide n seek for hours, neither getting bored as they both find better and better hiding spots. Wednesday, for the very first time in her young life, finds fun and excitement in something other than the pain of others. Enidās happy and excited to find someone who actually wants to be her friend and isnāt scared off when learning sheās a werewolf.
