Kellyās skills and drive have advanced her careerāsheās currently enrolled in the prestigious Master Color Expert programābut sheās not slowing down anytime soon. āMy goals are to become a Wella educatorāIām very passionate about Wella and would love to educate other stylistsāand to potentially collaborate with other stylists!ā
Once an artist, always an artist: before hair, Kelly studied art and worked in graphic design. But art itself wasnāt enough, and Kelly craved a way to bring her passion to work every day. Her skills and imagination were pushed to new levels in the MCE studio. And Kelly wants to share creative powers for good.
āI love to make people feel beautiful. I love seeing them have confidence in themselves.ā She makes each workday dynamic and vibrant. āI love that itās so colorful and different every dayācreating colors and customizing each formula to every client.ā
Kelly has the determination to never give up, the discipline to create every day, and the foresight to plan new goalsāplus, this California girl knows how to have fun in the studio! āItās my favorite place to beāmy Disneyland! I love the Wella Studio and team!ā As her grandfatherāalso a stylistāused to tell her, āIf you love your job, youāll never feel like you work a day in your life.ā

One way to stay ahead: Instagram. Kelly knows a picture is worth a thousand wordsāor, in her case, thousands of followers! āInstagram is an amazing tool and I love what itās become for the hair industry. It enables us to interact, network, and learn from each other.ā
Her tips for stylists hoping to up their Insta game? āFind good lighting for picturesāI feel like thatās a big struggle.ā She also recommends posting contact info for potential clients to reach out and book appointments. Her final tip? āStay consistent!ā
