This weighted blanket is supposed to alleviate my anxiety but it’s not working. . “Cold Soil Kettle” will be on view as a part of a virtual, immersive @scopeartshow booth with @mortalmachinegallery early next month. I’ve been working on this piece since late February and shipping it to the gallery yesterday had me feeling some stuff, in addition to being crushed by my own hubris. . The title refers to Cold Soil Road in Lawrenceville, NJ. I don’t know why, but I’ve designated the imagined end of that road to be this strange place inhabited by a huge subsection of the creatures I’ve made.
