Only Red Hood's most trusted and loyal gang members know what he looks like under the mask and also know that he's an omega. And they're fiercely protective of him. Not because he's an omega, but because he's so young (what causes someone so young to become someone like Red Hood?) and so good at his core.
So when the alphas of their group see Hood in civies trying to get information or even just going about his normal life, and they see an alpha not taking a hint or see that Hood is clearly uncomfortable, they tend to go up to him and pretend to be his partner so that the offending alpha will back off.
Of course, this doesn't go to plan when Dick Grayson ends up being the alpha currently talking with Hood.
~~~
Meanwhile, Dick wants to know just who the hell this alpha claiming to be his Little Wing's partner is?
First heats or ruts are statistically unluckly to result in pregnancy. This is why Dick isn't too worried when a rut inducer puts Jason into an early presentation rut and Dick is the only omega there able to help him through it
Not long after, while on a mission in space with the Titans, they run into a group of aliens that they end up assisting. In return for their help, the aliens use the supposed magic of their Gods to bestow upon Dick a gift that will lead to his "happiest future"
And then, Dick arrives home to learn of Jason's death.
And then Dick discovers that he's pregnant with Jason's child.
Dick isn't really sure how any of this is supposed to lead to his "happiest future".
Not because they might turn out to be an asshole. But because you might end up somehow being adopted into their family. And then how are you suppose to convince them to fuck you stupid.
Mer!Jason who lives by an abandoned private beach/house. Until one day a young couple (Dick and Tim) moves into the home and starts fixing it up. And Jason finds himself falling a little in love with both of them as he watches the care and effort they put into both the renovations and each other.
(Watching them mate on the rocky part of the shore definitely plays a part in that)
It's a shame they don't know he's there, don't even know he exists.
Tim and Jason are spending a lot of time together. Dick's a little jealous of their brotherly bonding, but at least they allow him to stay whenever he interrupts them.
Then, they're spending a lot of time with him, seeking him out, giving him things. Dick couldn't be happier. Even so, Dick can't stop the jealousy when he continues to find them alone together, watching them grow closer and closer to each other without him.
A/N:
A fic two days in a row after such a long break? Am I finally out of my writers block?
Not at all. Both fics were basically already written and I'm just posting them for the world.
So, I was going through my WIP folder and I stumbled upon this piece from Omega Dick Week 2025, complete and just sitting sadly gathering dust. I remember writing this and being unhappy with it, because I had so many better ideas for this prompt. But rereading it now, I don't understand why I was so unhappy. I enjoyed rereading this, so I can only hope some of y'all will enjoy it too.
I've changed maybe one thing for clarity, but the rest is the exact same as how I found it.
The prompt from Omega Dick Week 2025 was from day 2, Dick Oblivious to Courting.
~~~~~
The first time Dick sees Jason and Tim hanging out together alone, he expects to feel happy. His brothers are finally getting along after all. It's been a long road from when the older alpha tried to hurt the younger for taking his place in the pack. They've come so far since then, and Dick couldn't be prouder. So Dick should be happy, happy at how happy they seem to be spending time together.
And yet, he's not.
Dick sees them as he's walking past one of the lesser used libraries in the manor. The two are huddled together on one of the couches, talking in low murmurs about something Dick can't hear. Their scents scream content happy safe and it surprises Dick. He rarely smells either of them feeling this comfortable on a normal day, and never when they're in the same room before.
Dick makes his way into the room, somehow avoiding attention with how immersed the two are with whatever they're talking about. He decides the best way to announce his presence is by plopping himself right across both their laps without a care in the world.
"What are you two whispering about over here?" He puts on a bright smile, which grows bigger at the Tim's shock and Jason's disgruntlement.
"Oy, Dickhead, what the hell?"
"It's nothing important." Tim responds to Dick's question, and Dick has to resist the urge to ruffle the teen's hair. He looks so flustered at having been caught, despite clearly not doing anything untoward. It's adorable.
Dick raises his eyebrow. "It must be, if it's got you two collaborating together so intensely. Civilly, at that."
"We're not that bad." Tim retorts.
"Yeah, I'll have you know its been 173 days since I last tried to really hurt Timmers over here."
Tim snorts. "Wow, keeping count much?"
Jason gives Tim a smirk. "Of course."
Tim rolls his eyes but doesn't say anything else. Dick watches the whole interaction, hiding his frown. There's something Dick's missing here. Something important. The scent in the air doesn't give him any clues. In fact, it hasn't changed much since Dick arrived. If anything, it's grown stronger, the pack happy safe coming from the two alphas filling the whole room. The scent soothes Dick a little, causing him to release the same feelings in his own scent. He's glad his arrival didn't disrupt the comfortable atmosphere the two had going.
Still, there's something here that feels different, that feels like it's on the precipice of something Dick's not privy to. But what? What could be going on with these two to have they be so close to each other and not start lashing out with barbed words and quick fists.
"-ick? You okay?"
Dick tunes back in to his surroundings to see Tim and Jason staring at him. Tim's hand is on Dick's thigh, having shaken it slightly to grab Dick's attention.
"Sorry, just thinking. What did you say?" Tim looks at him funnily before responding.
"I asked if there was something you needed? Did you come here for something?"
"Oh, no. I just saw you two as I was walking by and decided to see what you were up to."
Jason snorts. "Typical Dickhead. Always poking his nose in other people's business."
Dick sticks his tongue out at Jason, the other merely rolling his eyes in response. Tim laughs at their antics.
Dick talks with the two for a while. He tries to uncover what is is that has him feeling off, but he just can't pin it down. Tim and Jason noticeably don't return to what they were discussing previously, but they also don't seem to try to rush him out of the room to do so. If anything, they seem to be enjoying his company. Jason somehow hasn't tried to push Dick off of him yet, and Tim…
Tim has not removed his hand from Dick's thigh. Dick stares down at it in realization. It's such a casual touch, and Dick can't help but think about how foreign it is. Their family is not a physical bunch, aside from Dick himself, and so for Tim to be touching him so casually, and near such an intimate spot to boot, is so out of the ordinary it shocks Dick. He can't look away from it now that he's realized it's there. He doesn't know what to do. He could brush it off, casually knock it away or at least push it to a more appropriate spot. He could bring it up, tease the teen for forgetting where his hand is resting. He could leave it, relish in the physical touch given freely for once. He could move it, push it closer to the heat that's steadily growing in his core.
Dick jumps up suddenly, startling the two alphas beneath him. "I just remembered. I have somewhere to be." He practically runs out of the room towards his own.
When he gets there, he slams the door shut and locks it. He slides down to the floor with his back against the door. What the hell was that? Where the hell had that thought come from? Here Tim was, resting comfortably for once against him and Dick's stupid brain had to turn it into something it wasn't. Dick isn't even sure why his brain went there. Sure, Tim's hand was near his crotch. And sure, he was laying in the laps of two capable alphas. But he's never had those types of thoughts about any of his brothers before. So why now?
He must be tired, he decides. Tired, so his brain is misreading all sorts of signals and getting them crossed in the process. That's all. He stands up and decides to take a nap.
He ignores the slight amount of slick that sits uncomfortably in his boxers.
~~~
Dick's not sure how intentional it is, but after that he seems to see Tim and Jason more than usual. Maybe it's him actively looking for them, maybe it's him purposely seeking them out, or maybe its really just them showing up more often. Either way, he keeps crossing paths with the two alphas. And each time leaves Dick reeling.
Sometimes he sees them together, like that day in the library. Close and comfortable, discussing something they still haven't disclosed to him. Every time it happens, it seems they're bodies have grown closer and closer together, the space between them disappearing as time goes on. They never seem to care when he interrupts them, though, even welcoming him to spend time with them. While definitely not used to his brothers allowing him to spend so much time with them, he's not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. It's… nice, seeing them so often, getting to know the men the two alphas have grown up to be. Some part of Dick will always still see them as the little pups he met them as, but a new part of him is starting to appreciate just how they've matured over the years.
And yet, Dick can't help the feeling of what he eventually recognizes as jealousy filling his veins. Just what shifted to allow the two alphas to grow so close together? Why are the two actively seeking each other out to spend time together? Dick knows that they've never kicked him out when he joins them, but they also never seem to go to him first.
Dick assumes the jealousy is over their brotherly bond. Their ability to push past their history together to form something that seems to grown stronger by the day. Their ability to move past him as their eldest sibling and leave him behind as he desperately tries to cling to them with every outing he interrupts.
I'm here too. He wants to yell at them. I want to grow closer with you. I want to be the one you seek out to cuddle close to and whisper secrets others aren't privy to know. I want to spend time together, outside of the moments I'm allowed to see only because I pushed my way in. Please. Let me in for real.
Yes, it's their brotherly bond he's jealous of.
Other times they're alone. Separate, like Dick is used to seeing them. Sitting on a rooftop, brooding as they all tend to do, or relaxing on one of the manors many couches. It always takes Dick a moment to approach them like this, unsure if he'll be welcome in the moment. Its different then when the two are together. During those moments, there is no silence to be broken, or an uncertainty of whether the other wants to be left alone or not. But here, Dick never knows what he should do. So instead, he'll study them, take in their solo figure. Take in the way their muscles bunch together in a crouch on a roof's edge, or the way their whole body slumps into the furniture as they take a needed break from their busy lives.
More often than not, the alpha will notice his presence and smile. Tim, with his little uncertain grin, closed lips but happy all the same. Jason with his crooked smirk, teeth glinting as his eyes burn with mirth. They'll invite him over, to talk or just relax in the comfort of another. It's always nice. It's still not them actively seeking him out, but the one on one time always eases his fear of being left behind even if only for that brief moment in time.
In the times he's not noticed, Dick forces himself to turn away, to walk away from the alpha before him. He wouldn't want to overstay his welcome. To seem too desperate for their attention that he will break one of the few times of peace they get in their crazy lives.
~~~
The first time one of them actively seeks Dick out, he nearly cries. It's while Dick's on a stakeout, having spent the past few hours watching a building that for all intent and purpose seems abandoned. The bats know otherwise.
Footsteps break the silence, and Dick whips around, ready for a fight. He relaxes when he sees it's Jason, dressed as Red Hood and carrying a plastic bag.
"What's up, Hood?" Dick greets. Jason shrugs and holds up the bag in his hand.
"Nothin' much. Heard you were on stakeout, and figured you could use some food and good company."
Dick stares at him, the domino hiding his wide eyes. He doesn't move to take the bag. He doesn't move at all. Jason shifts uncomfortably.
"I mean, if ya don't want it, that's fine. Just figured-"
"Wait!" Dick cuts him off before he can finish. Jason had already taken a step back, ready to disappear off the roof's edge. Dick could not allow that. "Wait. I'm grateful, really! Just shocked."
Shocked is one way to describe the feeling in his chest. To describe the stinging in his eyes and the way his hand shakes slightly as he reaches out for the offered bag.
"Yeah well, don't get used to it. Just had extra, you know. And I was bored anyway."
It turns out Jason cooks extra food more often that he claimed. Dick ends up receiving a home-cooked meal at least one a week after that.
Tim's way of reaching out is more subtle. Subtle, but brings a tear to Dick's eye just the same. At first, Dick assumes he's only seeking him out for work, bringing information to Dick while he's on patrol or in the cave. But then, he starts bringing the information to Dick's apartment, or inviting Dick over to his penthouse to discuss a case. Each and every time, they get off track, and talk about a multitude of other things between compiling evidence or whatever excuse it was to get Dick there.
Suddenly, Dick is finding little things in his apartment. USBs of information. Tupperware of food he knows he didn't make. The most memorable was the time Dick wakes up on his sofa, neck stiff from the unplanned nap, to find himself covered in a blanket he doesn't recognize. The scent of both Tim and Jason wafts off of it, and Dick can't help but to bring it closer to his nose, breathing as much of the alphas' scents in as he can.
~~~
The day starts like any other. Dick had spent the night after patrol in the manor, too tired to make his way home. Now, he's aimlessly wandering the halls, not quite wanting to leave yet, but not sure why.
He smells them before he sees them. It's become familiar, the tangled up scent of Tim and Jason existing together, the safe comfort pack present once more. Dick still hasn't quite figured out how he feels about it yet. Sure, the two have started to seek him out to spend time with him like they do each other, growing closer each time they do. But there is still something that sends a pang of pain through him every time he catches them together. A fear that even being sought out by the others, he's being left behind by them. That somehow, they are growing closer together than they are with him. That they don't actually want to grow closer to him, that they're just doing it out of obligation or pity.
They're in the abandoned library again, and Dick wastes no time walking in to interrupt see what they're doing. He stops abruptly at the sight before him.
Tim is sitting in Jason's lap, chest resting firmly against the others. They're kissing, Dick realizes with a jolt. Their mouths are moving together seamlessly, as if this isn't the first time they've done this. Their hands are gripping each other tightly, pulling each other closer despite the lack of space already between them.
Dick doesn't mean to, but a noise slips out of him at the sight. He realizes then that his scent is projecting distraught omega, sadness, abandonment, rejection. The last one brings a realization to Dick, and he wants to hit himself for how stupid he's been. How did he not realize that his feelings for the two alphas before him went beyond the brotherly bond he'd convinced himself it was.
The sound Dick makes startles the two alpha's out of their embrace. Their eyes are wide and Tim scrambles off of Jason to look over at Dick. He knows they can smell him, smell the feelings Dick is only just now realizing he has.
"Shit" Jason curses, and Dick can't help but agree. "Fuck. Dick."
"This is not how I wanted this to go." Tim mutters to himself, but Dick can hear it loud and clear. And he gets it, really. Tim probably had a whole plan for how to reveal their relationship to him. Knowing him, it included statistics, probably on alphas dating each other or something. Maybe, if they had realized his feeling before even he did, it included a way to let him down gently.
Somehow, the distress in Dick's scent grows stronger.
"Uh, Jay? Do something, please?"
Jason whips his head around to stare at Tim. "Why the fuck does it have to be me?"
"You're better at emotions than I am!"
"Not when it comes to delicate shit like this." Jason gestures to Tim and Dick as he says this.
"Whatever! You're more likely to be able to stop him if he tries to run, Ok? And look at him; us arguing is not helping!" And yeah. It's really not. Dick's whole body is tense, ready to bolt any moment now. He's shaking, he realizes, and there's tears starting to gather in his eyes.
"Shit." Jason says again. "Ok. Dick, I need you to listen to me."
As he speaks, Jason stands up and starts carefully making his way towards Dick. Dick wants to move away, run with his tail between his legs to go lick his wounds, just as much as he wants to move closer, embrace the alpha steadily growing closer and closer. But his body doesn't move. And so, Jason continues moving, speaking gently as he does.
"It's alright, Pretty Bird. Can we talk? Please?" Jason is right in front of him now, not touching him but instead just reaching a hand out for Dick to grab. It's then that Dick feels something wrap around his shoulders. He's not sure when Tim got behind him, but he's too busy being embraced by the blanket now on him to be shocked or scared. The blanket is similar to the one he found on him in his apartment. Right down to the scent of the two alphas encompassing the fabric. The scent calms him enough that his shaking ceases and his body listens when he cautiously reaches his hand to the one extended. He might as well get this over now, face their rejection head on so he can grieve whatever bond they had before this and try to move on.
Tim has a hand on Dick's shoulder as Jason leads him to the sofa. Instead of sitting on the other side of Jason when they sit, however, Tim sits down beside Dick so that he's sandwiched by the two alphas. Before, Dick would have relaxed at that, but now it just causes him to tense once more.
Dick feels a hand card through his hair, and a low shushing noise follows. Jason must have noticed the tension return in his body.
Dick eventually gets himself together enough to speak. "When…?"
"When did we get together? Only about a week ago." Dick is too busy processing Tim's statement that he almost misses his next words. Almost. "When did we start courting you, though? A few months ago now."
The whiplash Dick feels at that is painful, and Dick turns so quick to face Tim that his neck hurts from the movement.
"Geez, babe. You could've eased him into it before dropping it on him like that." Jason's voice is exasperated.
"I told you you're better at emotions than me! I don't know how to be delicate in a situation like this."
"I can see that." Jason starts to card his fingers through Dick's hair once more, grounding Dick as he continues to reel over the information that was just dropped on him. "He's right though, Pretty bird. We've been trying to court you for a while now. It's just… we ended up getting together in the process."
"But we still want to be with you." Tim pipes up.
"Yeah. I don't know how much you really recognized our courting, but I'm assuming that based on your distress at seeing us kissing, there's a chance you want to accept?" Jason says it as if he's trying to appear unaffected, but the blaring hope in his voice gives him away.
Dick's emotions are all over the place right now. The initial distress at seeing the two kiss is slowly morphing into hope mate accept as he allows himself to process the past ten minutes. The two alpha's give him time, Jason still running his fingers in his hair and Tim leaning comfortable onto Dick's side. Their scents surround him, at he's never felt so at peace as he does right now. His body is relaxing, the tension leaving little by little. It leaves him exhausted.
Dick feels himself nodding at Jason's question, too tired to say anything. He leans his head against Jason's shoulder, making sure he doesn't pull away from Tim in the process. Nothing more is said, in that moment. Their scents say everything they need for now; content happy mate love mine coming from all three as they settle comfortably on the couch. Dick knows that eventually, they'll have to talk. Discuss just what they want from each other, and how they'll go about all of this. But for now, he simply shuts his eyes, basking in the feeling of his two mates (his mates) embracing him gently on either side.
End Note:
(Original End Note): I love Jason and Tim's dynamic in this. Just, the constant bantering every time they talk gives me life. I hope yall enjoyed it too.
I did not proof read this. As in I have not reread a majority of it since I wrote it. I'm too lazy to, so here it is in all its unedited glory!
(New End Note) Like I said, I don't know why I thought this was so bad. And I hope y'all enjoyed it.
If there's any errors, feel free to say in the comments. Or if you just want to talk.
If Dick weren't wearing the gloves of his Nightwing uniform, he's sure he'd be biting his fingernails right now. Instead, he makes due with pacing around the interior of the Bat-plane, not wanting to watch the scene displayed in front of him on the large screen, but just as much not being able keep his gaze off of it for long.
Because that's his brother, on the screen. That's his brother being attacked by an enemy, one who is known to kill, and god it's so familiar and Dick can't handle it. But this time, there's a chance to save him. Dick is here this time, he's on his way to save him. Even with the Zeta Tube down, Dick won't let that deter him. He can save Tim. He has to.
He hears a scuffle from the feed and his gaze shoots to the screen once more. Tim is pinned to a wall, having been caught by the large man in a bright red helmet. Red Hood. The man taking Crime Alley's underground by storm. The man who has made his hatred of Batman and Robin perfectly clear. That man now has Robin pinned up against a wall, a knife dangerously close to the boy's throat.
Dick doesn't want to be watching this. All the same, he's grateful that he's able to. Red Hood may have somehow been able to cut all power and emergency procedures down in the tower, but luckily the man hadn't been aware of the handful of independent cameras and microphones B had set up throughout the place without alerting anyone else. Because of this, Dick is able to see exactly what's going on. He knows Tim is still alive, still fighting the bigger man with all he has. He's not beyond saving yet. Hopefully, he will never be.
"Look at you," The Red Hood is saying, the modulator doing nothing to hide the anger in the words. "Little Robin with no one here to save him. Sound familiar?"
"What do you want?" Is Tim's reply.
"What I want is for Batman to learn his lesson. He didn't after the second Robin, but maybe he will after the third."
The mention of Jason makes Dick flinch, and he knows without looking that B probably did as well from his seat at the front of the plane. They may have failed Jason before, but they sure as hell don't plan on failing Tim now.
Dick can only watch as Tim struggles, only for Red Hood to press the knife into the boy's throat. Dick wishes this plane would move faster. He needs to get there. Needs to get this man away from his brother before he hurts him any more. Instead, he's forced to witness the helmet move closer to Tim's face, and that mechanical voice murmur.
"Next time you see Batman, tell him this." The knife presses even harder, a bit of blood now dripping down Tim's neck. It's not enough for the wound to be fatal, but at this point it will most likely scar. "No more dead Robins."
Dick expects something then. Expects Red Hood to pull some dramatic move, hurt Tim even more. But instead, there's a moment of nothing. Neither Red Hood nor Tim move. It's as if they're staring at each other.
And then, the unexpected happens. Red Hood moves away from Tim. Not just moves away. Actually full-on stumbles.
"Shit." Dick's full attention is on the screen at Red Hood's voice, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. Did Tim do something out of view? Did someone else show up to help?
Dick's shock grows at Tim's reaction. Or should he say, lack thereof. Tim should be using the Red Hood's stumble to escape, should be gaining some distance. Instead, the boy simply pulls away from the wall, inadvertently getting closer to Red Hood with the action. He places a hand on his throat, but with not nearly enough concern as he should have.
"Huh." Is the only thing Tim says.
Red Hood reaches up to his helmet, and for a moment Dick is frozen. Is Red Hood going to reveal his identity before killing Tim off? But didn't he just say something about no more dead Robins? Instead, though, he simply presses a button down, and Dick is shocked when the man's next words are unmodulated.
"Fuck, Tim." And shit, Red Hood knows their identities. Or, at least Tim's. "Why did we end up here of all places?"
"I mean, it could have been worse."
"Baby Bird, I literally just slit your throat." Red Hood reaches up, and touches the hand Tim is holding around his own throat. If Dick didn't know any better, he would have called it a caress with how gentle the touch is. His voice comes out just as gentle. "We could have gone back far enough to at least prevent other you from getting this."
Tim reaches his other hand up towards his throat, and Dick prays for him to finally regain common sense and yank the man's hand away. Instead, the world continues to make no sense as he places it overtop of the other two and squeezes lightly.
"I don't know." Tim's voice is low, in a tone Dick has never heard from him before. "I've always liked having the permanent mark from you for everyone to see."
Dick blue screens while Red Hood lets out a bark of laughter. "You kinky shit."
"You love it." Tim replies with a sly grin. He presses closer into the hand at his throat, which in turn gets him closer to Red Hood.
"Yeah I do." Is Red Hood's soft reply, and Dick is officially freaking out. He turns to Bruce, who's fully staring at the screen like Dick was. They make eye contact, and Bruce's wide eyes confirm that the man is seeing and hear the same thing he is. Which is Red Hood and Tim… flirting? Red Hood, someone who they've estimated to be an older man, someone who literally just sliced Tim's throat, is flirting with Dick's sixteen year old brother, and his brother is reciprocating.
Dick glances at the GPS on the Batplane's autopilot. They're still five minutes out. Five minutes out from stopping this man from doing anything else to his little brother.
Red Hood seems to have a similar thought. He jumps back from Tim. "Shit. How long do we have until someone gets here?"
Tim takes a moment to think it over. "I'm not sure. I was kind of unconscious last time." Last time?
"Do you remember how they found out what happened?"
Tim thinks again before his body goes ridged. "The cameras."
"What cameras? Didn't I disable them all?"
"We found out that Bruce had planted independent cameras throughout the tower." Tim looks around before locking eyes with the lens currently playing. The boy must notice the red light indicating that it's being watched because his eyes widen. "They're watching right now. Him and Dick are probably already on their way then."
And what the fuck, Tim. Why would he compromise their identities like that? And so casually, too. The boy is usually smarter than that. Red Hood had to have drugged him or something. That could explain away at least some of the craziness currently unfolding in front of them.
Red Hood turns towards the camera as well. "Ok, ok. So we don't have much time. That's fine. Fuck, isn't there a protocol for this or something?"
Tim snaps his fingers and nods. He looks back up at the camera again. "B. Nightwing. Protocol TTDTLT-RR03."
Dick has to think over all of the Bat protocols to remember what the code means. TT stands for time travel, DT for diverting timeline, LT for limited time. 03 is Tim's code, although usually it's preceded by just R, for Robin, not RR.
Tim looks at Red Hood expectantly after speaking.
"What?" The man says. Tim continues staring. "Oh, fuck no. I ain't saying shit."
And the implications of that aren't lost on Dick. Because if Dick is reading into this correctly, it means Red Hood not only came back in time with Tim, but knows the Bat Protocols. Likely has a code himself, if Tim is expecting him to say it, as opposed to being added as an addition to Tim. And, with the way the two are acting, they're close. Closer than Dick would ever expect Tim to be with someone who tried to hurt him, even if it was in the past for him.
Dick doesn't know how to feel about any of this. And yet it just keeps going.
"Come on, babe." I'm sorry, babe? "They're already going to find out who you are after this. You might as well take the brunt of it before Pit-Rage-Teenage-Angst-you returns and tries to shoot Dick for hugging him or something."
Dick is pretty sure he's broken at this point. Every sentence these two speak just breaks him more and more. Because, Pit Rage? As in the Lazarus Pits? And teenage angst implies that Red Hood is a teenager, which makes absolutely no sense. And just why the hell would Dick want to hug the man who, again, just tried to hurt his little brother?
Red Hood gives in easily and sighs. "Fine. Whatever. Protocol TTDTLT-RH02."
The Batplane lands with barely a sound. They've arrived at the Tower. But Dick makes no move to look away from the screen as Red Hood reaches up to actually take off his helmet this time. He knows Bruce is as frozen as he is right now. Because there's no way. Bruce would never give that code to someone else. But the alternative is impossible.
Except… Lazarus Pits… teenager… 02…
The helmet moves away and Dick is left staring at an older version of Jason Todd.
(So maybe Dick will be hugging Red Hood after all.)
End note:
No but really, I was getting some writers block for my current WIP, and needed to write something else to hopefully get the writing juices flowing. Idk how much it helped, but I had fun writing this either way.
Fun fact, while going through some of my saved ideas/prompts to get an idea, most of my options were jaydick and smut/smut based. I'm pretty sure this was the only non-smut and jaytim premise in that particular list, and I just think its funny that its the one I ended up writing.
Anyway, y'all know the drill. If there's any errors, feel free to say in the comments. Or if you just want to talk.
Come talk to me elsewhere:
(contains Bruce x all the Robins, including and especially Damian)
Ok, so, Bruce having a sexual relationship with all of his kids during the time that they're Robin. But given that more often than not the Robins leave the position on a sour note, those relationships fizzle out after they leave it. I imagine Bruce and Tim's relationship being Tim trying to fix Bruce after Jason's death, and Bruce using him as a balm after losing his last relationship (Jason). So when Jason returns, Tim feels he isn't needed anymore and so their relationship starts to fizzle at that point.
Enter: Damian
When Damian comes to the manor, there's no real evidence that Bruce ever was with the Robins in that way. Bruce's relationship with Tim is on its last legs, and ends all-together after he is lost in the time stream and Tim becomes Red Robin and pulls away completely. And Bruce doesn't try anything with Damian after the boy becomes Robin because, well, that's his son. It's bad enough he fucked his adopted kids, but his biological one?
So Damian remains unaware that Bruce has fucked every other Robin. Until one night on patrol, when Damian calls Batman father in front of someone (either a citizen or a rogue) who has seen past evidence of Batman's sexual relationship with Robin. And that person brings it up like: ""Did he just call you father? I explicitly remember catching you fucking Robin in a side alley/on a roof/etc. Multiple times. WTF?" or something like that.
When they're alone again, Damian demands to know what the person was talking about. Reluctantly, Bruce explains to Damian his relationships with the other Robins, but adds on "don't worry, I won't do that to you, son."
And Damian is like "why not? if this is a thing that has happened with every Robin other, then I want the full experience."
Bruce remains adamant that he won't do that to Damian. Cue Damian doing everything in his power to get Bruce to fuck him. Maybe he even asks the other kids for advice.
