With the sun moving into sagittarius, we are watching the sun descend to its lowest point of the year before the winter solstice ( and Christmas, when it will once again begin to rise while aligned with sirius and orion. )

With this jupiter ruled sign, we undergo an expansion of the self and the higher mind, solidifying us before we move into the bleakest parts of winter.

The shadows that we began to catch out of the corners of our eyes during libra and scorpio season are now front and center, ready for their close up. While sagittarius is the sign everyone loves to associate with luck, joy, and general excitement, things have not been especially pleasant lately. Those who were hoping for a breakthrough in the energies are now seeing that we will have to do some digging ourselves.

Venus' conjunction to jupiter which will exact through this weekend, is a beautiful and harmonious energy that will lend a creative boost to thinking processes and may bring a material blessing our way. There is an air of generosity and optimism here that can lend a hand to things we would like to change our perspective on.

It will be easy to let this positive patch of energy slide by with all that is going on, but making a pact with yourself now could bring wonderful results. With the other supportive aspects occurring at the same time, it can bring us a fresh perspective and incense us just enough to take action, protecting us within a bubble of hope and harmony as we process difficult topics.

This is a critical time, and staying grounded is essential. The energies now ignite our desire for more. We want to be better, live better, and we want to do it all NOW. New dimensions within our reality are being expanded every day, and the great awakening is truly underway. Now is a time when we can realize or receive things that are vital to our growth. Because of this, we must pay attention.

For me, the 3 of Fire is all about expansion and getting out of your comfort zone. So, it only makes sense that this card has been coming up for me a lot recently. I’ve been feeling very restless and I know a lot of other people have been feeling it too. This card really encourages everyone to shake up their everyday routine and bring in a little variety. That will help move any stagnant energy out of your life and help you feel a little more in the flow of things if you’ve been feeling stuck lately. So, try bringing in a little more variety and get out of your routine habits. Try something new like going to a new restaurant, seeing a new movie, or go on a little weekend trip.
