#week challenge

I'm @tinwe-the-local-assassin and the host of this event!

To be honest, when I first came up with this idea, I imagined this event was already being held by someone, considering how the various Nargothrond gangs are popular among people. But it was a pleasant surprise to not find something like it, and so now I have the honour of hosting it for you all. ☺️

This week will be dedicated to celebrating the realm of Nargothrond, her kings, rulers and people from various eras; from the starting point and blooming bud of the idea in Felagund's mind, to her devastating destruction by the dragon Glaurung.

This event will be held from August 1st-7th this summer,

So make sure to keep up with the posts about the prompts and themes and other news!

Well, the rules are quite as simple as any other events:

Please be kind to each participant and how they have decided to express their ideas. Bullying will not be tolerated.

There is no limit in how you have decided to participate in this week! Drawings, writings, Headcanon posts, moodboards, cosplays, etc… are all part of this challenge. Let your heart and mind lead you!

Based on my own personal beliefs, I will not be reblogging works and posts containing sibling and/or parent incest. Thank you all in advance for respecting my boundaries and don't forget, anyone is free to participate!

Mind the tagging! Use the #nargothrond week tag or #nargothrond week 2025 tags or even better, mention the blog or my own personal account in your posts! I will check them all! (I personally prefer to find you through the mentions, but use them all if you want!) And don't forget about TW or other needed tags.

The week is a mere formality. Don't worry about finding this post too late and think you won't have time to participate. I'll be keeping up with the mentions and tags long after the deadline and reblog whatever I can find!

Prompts and Themes (which will be further added and posted) are only there as guides. You do not have to follow them. They're merely there to water the tiny plants of ideas which are already inside your creative, beautiful minds!

there is absolutely going to be a full month for 2026, and the revised prompt list will be released ehhh pretty soon. only reason it won't be right now, is because i swiped a week for—

It's no month-long marathon, but these were a couple of my favorite prompts </3. Filling the week by January 3 gets you a completionist for this (hopefully one-off) week event!

Welcome to a new week event, Aizawa/ Rarepair Week!!

This event focuses on—you guessed it—Aizawa and the various rarepairs he’s included in for a whole entire week. A rarepair being, in this case, any ship tag with less than 300 posted works underneath it!!

That means we do have banned ships that you must not write to be able to “officially” complete the week!! This includes ships like EraserMic, EraserMight, etc.

Our current timeline is as follows:

17th Sept — Reminder Forms Released

24th Jan — Prompts Released/Pre-writing is acceptable

23rd Feb to 1st March — Aizawa/ Rarepair Week!! Please post day-by-day!!
