A lot of the pieces for this were stuff I feel I spent WAY too much time thinking about. The flowers for example:
Sea Holly: Loyalty, stability, endurance Oleander: while poisonous, can symbolize deep and complex romantic relations Lavender: Devotion, calm
while I'm not great at designing cake, I hope it could be seen the tiers all having frosting waves crashing against the lil sandy patch on top, with a Sturgeon Scale, Gold Coin, and Pocket Watch tucked in.
The lil faint image of Georgina in there is more of a joke:
The notion that Jade would be the one to propose I thought would be almost unheard of. All three had passed around the idea, but never overly committed to kickstarting it. Georgina is a very observant woman. She can see the pining from miles off. So she gives them the world's best excuse:
"It just makes good Business sense," She crooned. "The next head The Family Business needs strong connections. We and the Ashengrottos are already well acquainted with each other, and we adore Azul already. Add onto that, Mr Eastwind is such a willing and eager boy, who I'm sure would have no issues helping us establish a better foothold on land. It just makes for good business all around."
Their biggest 'tradition' they've enacted as newly weds is maintaining their professional appearances and reserving -most- affections (especially ones when two gang up on the third) behind closed doors. It keeps business and pleasure separate, but also helps keep such gestures special. 'For Your Eyes Only'.
